About Me

★who am I?
*I am Amani, 35 y.o, living in Tunis with my husband Wajdi. We host cool and nice CS people in our appartment in Jardins de Carthage, Tunis. Wajdi's CS profile: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/wajdiessid
*I work in the international development field, 40 hours a week job.

★Things I love:
- Travelling (when I have time and money) and meeting travellers from different countries and locals.
- Being surrounded by energetic and cheerful people :)
- Dynamics of towns and cities, people watching.
- Sea : my favorite place. I love camping on the beach.
-Cooking for friends, inviting people and organizing parties at home.
- Rooftops and aperos

★Things I don‘t like:
- Dark rooms when there is day light outside. YES I like big open windows.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing Spirit:
- Because of my working hours, I don't have time to show you around during the day but I like spending time with my guests. Evenings in our place are fun: we cook, talk, share music, etc. When we have energy, and if you want, we can show you some local night spot or go out for an apero or dinner. If you want just a place to sleep, please be honest and tell us, maybe we will help you since there is no affordable accomodation in Tunis for backpackers.

Reasons why I LOVE couchsurfing:
- I don't travel as much as want. Hosting people is a an open window on the world.
- Hosting people is a way to discover new cultures and meet interesting and open minded people.
- Sharing my place brings me joy : I like to help travellers, make them feel home.
- Staying with locals is a great way to immerse in the culture and see things through the eyes of locals. I expect my hosts to give me recommendations of local spots and local restaurants.
