A tiny Chinese girl, annoying sensitive(could be in both positive and negative ways, hopefully most in the former one). ^_^
My friends said that I am a small girl with a great heart / short in height but tall in mind. I am pretty sure about the height thing, and I am trying to learn and do better on the other!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I surf, host and meet CS.
When I surf, it's me approaching the world; when I host, it's the world approaching me.

I want to know more about different cultures. I think couchsurfing is the best way to experience local life and make friends during trips! Through couchsurfing, I see more of the world than that I could see only with my eyes.

I want to share the city and the life I live with friends (no matter old or new friends).
The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose; helping others will make me happy and benefit myself as well.

My wonderful hosts on Couchsurfing taught me what Couchsurfing is. It's not only to help people find a free place to stay. It's about exchanging cultures, experiencing local life, sharing, caring, making new friends, ... So make sure you know why you want to meet me before sending me requests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Tibet twice.
The first time was at my 18. My hometown is very far away from Tibet. To get there, I took a plane, 12h hardseat train, followed by 33h sleeper bus on the bumpy road (because the road was under construction). It was crazy!
Then at 22, I made another visit. I took totally 56h hardseat train to Tibet and travelled by hitchhiking. All the way, the scenery I saw and people I met were so great! I met some Tibetan locals in some small villages, who cannot speak Chinese (they can only speak Tibetan language). They were really nice and friendly to me. And I was very impressed by their religious faith.

I hiked and camped on the wild part of Great Wall.
This part of Wild Great Wall (Jiankou), covered with broken bricks, was not an easy trail to hike at all. Every step was taken on the tracks of time. Along the the way I kept thinking, how amazing the ancient Chinese were, for building this "giant dragon" on these sheer cliffs and steep mountains!! In the end, we came to the repaired part, which is close to tourist area. It inevitably seemed boring. But the big contrast just made me value this experience more, because I don't know for how much longer the wild part would stay like it is without being "fixed and repaired".
