Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

There are only few people who know about couchsurfing in our town, so the best way to participate in this project is to tell about it

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There are not so many tourists in my native city, but I met several couchsurfers in Belgorod.

I surfed in Austria in 2012 for the first time and now I hardly imagine travelling with a guide and staying in hotels.
Next experience of CS took place in the western point of Russia - the city of Kaliningrad in 2013.
Then I met couchsurfers in Spain in 2014.
In spring 2015 I traveled through the Baltic coasts with the help of CS (Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus)
In summer 2015 I met the biggest community of couchsurfers in my life in Florence (Italy). Amazing people!
In 2016 I met them again and I was happy!
December 2016 - we surfed with a friend in Germany.
May&June 2017 - CS in France and Malta.
January 2018 - returning to the lovely hosts in Vilnius again
September 2018 - couchsurfing in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Estonia

Interests

History of my native town, architecture, painting, cooking.
I like houses and buildings, and it is a great pleasure to deal with it during my work.
I like travelling and I try to go somethere at least two times a year. I feel myself bad and tired staying in the same place for a long time.

I'm fond of vinyl! On last new year's eve I received modern vinyl-player as a present, since that time I'm in constant seeking of cheap vinyl LPs :) I don't collect them, looking for old, rare or unusual records, my aim is to listen good music with natural, analogue sound, it brings me back to childhood. If you know where to buy not expensive vinyl records — tell me ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm crazy about new emotions and feelings. Once I have skydived from 850 meters and since that time I dream about sky. I plan to skydive from 4000 meters with an instructor

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn how to spin the wheel like acrobats do. Some people tried to teach me, but I all my attempts failed :(
And as for me, I can teach you cooking Russian famous bortsch, Russian salad ( we call it Olivie), and making shocking bouquets from every vegetable :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share food, smile, stories, fears of being lost in unknown city, sometimes I bring small souveniers from my native town
