I am a student who grew up in the mountains of northern New Mexico, USA. I love the outdoors, going on adventures, meeting new people, exploring the world, and photographing all the while. In June 2017 I became a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B). In September of 2017, I am taking my EMT training on the road for 9 months volunteering as an EMT with programs in Ghana and Nepal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to travel and I love meeting new people!I will be on a 9 month Africa/South East Asia/India/Nepal backpacking trip and as a college student I have a tight budget and am looing for reasonable accommodations. I also love to meet local people, eat local food, and get a much better cultural immersion than the typical hotel tourist.

I love it all- too many to list! My favorite music tends to be Bluegrass/Indie Rock/and Folk music. My favorite movie may be Beast of a Southern Wild but I'll watch anything. I tend to read mostly non-fiction/memoirs/and biographies.

Yes! I am very open to learning new things, from cooking to dancing and music to new languages and art. I'm also very willing to share everything that I know and have learned through traveling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share numerous stories from my travels, mountain climbing, partying with friends and well as a traditional New Mexican home cooked meal, tips and tricks I've learned through travling, as well as lots of medical/first aid knowledge. I'm clean, organized, very respectful, open minded and low maintenance.
