Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's so special to meet people where they live and experience the place through their eyes! I've always had the most unexpected and lovely adventures thanks to Couchsurfing.

My first surfing experiences were on an epic journey through California, where I also did lots camping and housesitting. I have beautiful memories from those couchsurfs. I've also Couchsurfed in New Orleans.

Interests

I absolutely love to dance! My main dance is Lindy Hop (swing dancing). I also dance some salsa, blues, bachata, and fusion. On Fridays you can find me in the goth club doing my wavy freestylin too ;)

Lately I've become obsessed with clothes and fashion!? I'm surprising myself because I used to hate clothes lol :P Some of my favorite designers are Yohji Yamamoto, Junya Watanabe, Rick Owens, Prada, and Rei Kawakubo

Recently I've also been listening to tons of rockabilly and early rock n roll. Chuck Berry is blowing MY MIND!

I also love theater, musicals, museums, hiking, and going on crazy long walks around cities.

I like a lot of classic Hollywood movies, especially film noir: Double Indemnity, M, The Third Man. David Lynch!

Books: Bolaño's Savage Detectives, Borges' Ficciones, and Nabokov's Pale Fire

Music: Shostakovich, Beethoven. Don Giovanni, L'elisir d'amore, Tales of Hoffman, and Lucia di Lammermoor. I'm also into Mingus, Monk, and Parker. I once gave John Zorn a bagel and lox on his birthday!
