Overview
About Me
People say I'm joyful. I would agree with them. I enjoy people, open spaces, good conversation, and games.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Spending time with locals has become my favorite way to travel. And I hope to return the favor by hosting as well.
Interests
Surfing, cycling, running, hiking, and reading. If it's outside, I probably dig it. But I do enjoy less active, slower moving indoor activities too. In short: I'm not hard to please.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Eclectic, sans country and anything super electronic.
Movies: How about directors instead? Alfonso Cauron, David Fincher, Denis Velleneuve, Wes Anderson,
Books: How about Authors instead: Vonnegut, Steinbeck, Twain, Hemingway, Diaz, Eggers, O'Conner, Donald Miller.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam with a great white shark. But I didn't know I was swimming with him/her until the fins breached right next to me. It was one of the more memorable surf experiences I've had.
Teach, Learn, Share
First off, I think this is kind of what we are designed to do as humans--learn, share, teach.
Also, teaching, learning, and sharing a dear to my heart: these are all things I want to do in life, seeing as I am on my way to becoming a teacher. Sharing, equipping, empowering--these are all elements in life we get to communicate with one another. I don't think I'll ever be in position to teach anyone anything, but I do think, I can assist someone learning something about themselves by working with the raw materials of who he/she is to make them a fuller version of themselves.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will be more than happy to bring some food/beverages for anyone generous enough to host me. I also believe I bring an innate positive, fun, encouraging spirit. And of course, someone to talk to/exchange stories with/listen.
