ABOUT ME

I moved down to Tamarindo, Costa Rica one year ago after backpacking here last year. I will be here at least 3-4 months more and then am planning on more travelling. I'd love to do some short trips to other spots in CR and central america before then, as well as have some people to go visit when I hit up Europe,Japan, other places. My dream trip is 2-3 weeks on horseback through Mongolia during their festival in June(?). I like trying all sorts of activities. I work as a programmer online so am usually toting my little laptop around.

PHILOSOPHY

Basic morals, live your life and let others live theirs, be considerate, treat those as you'd like to be treated, go with the flow. I'm an atheist but don't care what others believe as long as they don't try to push their belief onto me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted people as I could the past few months and have met some really awesome people and had some great times. I will definitely continue and try to hit up more local meetups when I can. I look forward to trying out surfing too when I get more time to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Same as above. I have just hosted so far but everyone has been great, lots of different people with different experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sci fi and action movies are my favorite. Moon was great, District 9, chinese epics, thai fighting, jet li.

Books are mostly sci fi . Music is alternative, electronic, trance/techno , spanish guitar, some other various genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hiked fuji, marched in US inauguration parade, visited Great Wall and Terra Cotta Warriors, made friends without any languages in common.
