About Me

Always a little on the move and the desire to meet people, I travel often, sometimes alone, sometimes with my partner, microphone in hand, to tell the story of those who are little talked about in France. Journalist by profession, I take advantage of this status to combine my passion for travel and for stories. It's also a great excuse to go far and for a long time, so I took advantage of it recently by going on a backpacking trip for a year and a half in South America. I made a podcast of all the incredible encounters made during this trip: “Autochtone podcast”. A podcast that gives a voice to those who live there and whose personal history resonates with the one of their country.
I am cheerful, passionate about the unknown and talkative without being intrusive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Landscapes are nice, but what we remember when we return are the people we meet. So what could be better than spending a little time directly with those who live there and who know their country ?
For me, travel is about getting to know the culture and the country by getting off touristic trail. Meetings allow you to learn a lot and couchsurfing is a great tool for creating them.

Music, Movies, and Books

The whole Thylacine album "Transsiberian" and "9 pieces" is just incredible. Generally speaking, I listen to world electronic music. I read a lot of books on feminism, recently the one that had a big impact on me is called “Vieille fille” by Marie Kock, but “Les femmes aussi sont du voyage” by Lucie Azéma is a must read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have you ever ridden a motorcycle with a narcoleptic driver? This is what happened to me when I was doing an internship at a radio station in Togo, almost 15 years ago. After eating at a friend's family, my driver (also a friend) started to nosedive while we were going down a mountain with a wet road. I spent a good half hour slapping him whenever I saw his head lowering regularly. I was happy to arrive!

Teach, Learn, Share

Passionate about podcasts, I have endless resources to recommend. I also have, if you wish, a lot of travel stories in my bag and endless energy! I can play you some guitar pieces and teach you the beginnings. I am curious about the unknown and with me, the discussion rarely falls flat.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Moments of discussion to get to know the person, their country and their culture better are more than enough for me. If the person wants to show me a side of their country, it will be with great pleasure!

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Ecuador, Greece, Italy, Malta, Peru, Senegal, Spain, Togo, Turkey, United States, Uruguay
