About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To gain fluency in Spanish and figure out how I can best contribute to this world (job) while fulfilling my personal aspirations.

ABOUT ME

I am curious, extroverted, enjoy challenges, and love to explore and go on adventures. Give me a sunny warm day and no matter what is going on, I will be happy. I dont take myself too seriously enjoy going with the flow.

I am all about new experiences and different people, which has led me to live in 8 cities in the last two years. I recently moved to Medellin, Colombia and then Cochabamba, Bolivia to learn Spanish. May marked my 6th month traveling alone through South America. It has been riveting most the time, sprinkled with some moments of terror. I love to play sports, especially soccer, and finding new and interesting things to do! But most of all, I love food.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what makes you happy. In todays society I feel it is easy to forget that money and success are not the main goals in life, but maintaining happiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled form the boarder of Ecuador to the amazon city of Iquitos, Peru, on a lancha for 5 days. A lancha is a the amazonian version of a cargo ship, except much smaller. Over the 5 days they stuff on the boat live cattle, plantains, and people living along the river who need a ride to civilization. It was no tourist boat. By the last couple days, it was hammock on hammock and I was the only foreigner out of about 100 plus people. A lot of good stories came from that trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - How to make glass beads, longboarding... what do you want to learn?

Learn- I would like to learn as much as I can! Hmm.. do you know how to do something unusual? Can you show me how to cook something new and tasty? Im easily amused.
