Hi everyone,

my name is Natalie, but my friends and family calls me Naty. I’m 23 years old and I was born and raised in the Czech Republic. Czech Republic is such a beautiful country full of nature, architecture, culture, food and of course beer! Haha! Czech beer is worldwide famous, do you know Pilsner? It's Czech!
For 21 years I used to live in Czech, I was working a job that I didn’t really enjoy, so I decided to move somewhere else. That’s when I moved to Netherlands. For a year I used to live in a beautiful city called Den Haag (The Hague). Thanks to this opportunity I got to explore and experience Netherlands in a way that no tourists can. I was working as an au pair, which means that I was living with a Dutch host family and I was taking care of their little ones.
Beginning of 2023 I realized how much this experience has changed my life and how much I love it! So I decided to move to the USA as an au pair. Ive been in the United States of over than 8 months now and I’m loving it! I live close to Seattle in the Washington state. And whenever I have an opportunity I try to travel. In my 8 months I’ve seen - Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Florida, Michigan, Utah, Canada (3x times - Nova Scotia, Kelowna and Rossland).
For my next trip I’m planning to go to Hawaii with my friend (we would like to go to both Oahu and Maui).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Friend of mine told me about couchsurfing and her positive experience. So I decided to give it a try too.
I'm on Couchsurfing to see if there's someone who would be willing to offer me and my friend a place to stay while we are traveling.

I listen to any kind of music (preferably pop music). When it comes to books I tend to be kind of picky (haha), but I prefer romantic and adventurous. I also like the old classics.
With movies I'm pretty easy, I can watch anything.
