So, where was I?... Ahh yes, introducing the main character of our story.
He has an unusual past that taught him many a lesson. Existence made him think. Life made him decide which path to take. Grown stronger he has! Yet he has not lost his humor and kindness. On the surface, one often gets a calm, controlled and intelligent impression. Within, however, behind that mask of maturity, lurks total madness. Visions that need new sunlight. Dreams that need fresh air. Music that needs to be danced to.

A type of guy you do not meet twice in a lifetime. Insane, in a healthy way.

PHILOSOPHY

There are many ways to kill a mortal.
Flesh that burns,
bones that break.
But to break a man's spirit...
that's to truly destroy him!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm luring people into my apartment, in order to give them a sssspecial time, hehehe.

Next to that, I'm organizing and joining many CS events. The agenda of my weekly events typically looks like this:

20h30: Salsa and Bachata workshop party at my place

Friday
20h00: Epic bar meeting in hostel Uppelink

Sunday
13h30: Jugger in Koning Albert park
16h35: Dutch conversation table in the pub Spijker

There are some other projects I'm working on as well, like a monthly or bimonthly speed-friending event and the InterCSity weekends, where the Gent group is visiting or receiving couchsurfers from another city.

You know, the usual stuff.

Indeed!

As in many fairy tales, it all began a long time ago, in a place far far away.

A boy was born.
His birth would set the pace for his unlikely life.
No longer than most men's,
but larger.
And as strange as his stories got...
...the endings were always the most surprising of all.

Knowledge is power, and power corrupts. So, study hard and be evil!

A good way to start is by learning how to dance salsa. I can teach you some of the basic moves. And some stupendous moves as well. If you feel like showing me your dancing skills, by all means, that would be great! Salsa or other dances, doesn't matter.

I can also show you how a weird combination of ingredients can be turned into a delicious salad or meal. If you know a weird dish, you have my full attention :P

I can improve your Dutch and English. You can improve my Russian or Spanish.

You can teach me how to eat with fork and knife or with chopsticks. I can teach you how to eat with nothing at all!
