ABOUT ME

Currently, I am studying to be an art therapist and am interested in the therapeutic aspects of the creative arts. The last 5 years I have been working as a musician, singer-songwriter type stuff. I graduated from St. Olaf college in 2007 with an art & spanish degree. Right now I'm volunteering at a daycare in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for about 3 months in 2009 around Europe. In 2010, a fellow musician and myself couchsurfed for 3 months, playing shows in Ireland, England, Norway, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France, and Germany. As a musical duo I have couchsurfed a bit in the U.S too, mostly in the southeast. We have meet so many incredibly kind, interesting people! Thinking about it I am overwhelmed by how much couchsurfing has meant to me and how much I have learned from connecting with people from all over the world.

Interests

Of course I love to travel. I enjoy cooking, art, music, psychology, languages, and trying new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent some time in China. I jumped in lake superior in the middle of the winter. I once was a professional dog walker, walking up to 8 dogs at once.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy cooking for people, but I cant promise it will be any good. If there's a guitar or piano around I am happy to play music for or with people.
