I'm Raquel, I'm 19 years old and I'm currenty living/studying in Viseu.
I'm in the Vet Nursing course and train dogs as a part-time.

I was born on Madeira Island, have lived in a small city called Macedo de Cavaleiros for a few years and lived most of my life in Vila Real.

Since I'm in uni, I was able to foster 3 dogs (one at a time), till they found their forever homes. On January, I decided to adopt my 3rd foster dog, Tyson, and since then he follows me everywhere I go :)

I love meeting new places and getting to know people from different cultures.
I enjoy hanging out, exchanging experiences and different points of view and learning new things. I think a couchsurfing experience can be a way to do all that!

Interessi

I like sports, specially surf and extreme sports, although I'm afraid of hights xD

I love music and play the piano, ukulele, and the violin. I'm also learning how to play the guitar and would love to learn how to play more intruments :)

I also like reading, drawing and volunteering.

Some of my favorite things are watching the sunset, looking at the stars, walking in the nature and by the sea, enjoying little things. I also love exploring, getting lost and new adventures, as well as capturing moments through photography.

I like many kinds such as Alternative Rock, Indie, Indie Rock, Rock, Acoustic, Classic, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Reggae...
A street musician will always get my attention :)

I've seen many beautiful landscapes and the most breathtaking were probably in hidden places xD
Surfing is also one of the best experiences I've had!

I've been volunteering with animals and rescuing since I was 12 years old, have worked with several animal welfare organizations and was one of the 2 founders of a project to help street cats in Vila Real when I was 16 years old (It still exists, but I'm no longer coordinating it because I've moved out).

I've also volunteered with people and plan to get more involved in comunity projects.

I try to make the world a better place :)
