About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Anxiously awaiting the Canadian adventure in 2015.

ABOUT ME

I'm lawyer, love my wife Mônica, my cats, love surfing (sport), inline skating, music and travels. I'm also DJ and graphic artist as hobbies. After work as lawyer for 6 years, now I'm law consultant for a great government company. Mônica works for the Brazilian Lawyer's Organization. We are party people. We live in an island in the southern part of Brazil.

PHILOSOPHY

I know that I know nothing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend of mine, Eduardo Botelho, told me about this site. I loved since the first visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Both being guest in Europe (3 times) and hosting in my flat in Florianopolis was simply fantastic.

Interests

Music (electronic and rock mostly), surfing, inline skating, photoshoping, DJing, travelling, Mônica; not exactly in this order.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies (the first ones that comes to my mind): Trainspotting (UK 1996), A Clockwork Orange (UK 1971), Pulp Fiction (USA 1994), Leaving Las Vegas (USA 1995), Hanna (USA 2011).
Music: Antix, Brisker & Magitman, Astronivo, Eitan Reiter, Vibrasphere, RPO (I know, noboby knows them...they are the future)... Styles: prog house/prog trance, chill out, drum'n'bass, trip hop, indie rock, 80's.
Books: everything about travels and Sir Ernest Shackleton. Realistic adventures as Into the Wild (Jon Krakauer), Into Thin Air (Jon Krakauer), and the books written by my father!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skiing in Bariloche, Argentina (1990) and the Zugspitze, Germany (2009), with -21°C; travel throughout the American Southwest, visiting Meteor Crater, Grand Canyon, Zyon Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Death Valley; couchsurfing in Europe (December 2009, August 2011 and April 2012); arrive by boat in Monaco. Watch an Orbital gig in Royal Albert Hall... Travel the chilean and argentinean Patag

Teach, Learn, Share

I like a lot to teach and share my knowledge about my city. It has more than 100 beaches, a lot of tracks for hiking, waves for surfing, dunes for sandboarding, hills for paragliding, lagoons for wakeboarding, sailing, paddling, etc. Here, you can practice almost all the outdoor summer sports. There are also a lot of night and beach clubs. The best city of Brazil, by far (Rio is more beautiful, but Floripa is safer and not so crowded, at least while it's not summertime). Learn? We learn every day.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Paraguay, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
