We are Susie (24) and Tyson (24), two young professionals living in Alberta, Canada. Susie is a Registered Nurse currently employed on the Labor & Delivery unit of the local hospital, and Tyson is the business manager of an electrical company. We are an outgoing, energetic, and genuine couple with a passion for new experiences in travel, culture, and socialization.

Susie is an avid language arts enthusiast fluent in English and French, with a beginner's knowledge of Spanish as well. Having grown up amidst a family of seven children, Susie has an easygoing, patient attitude and a fun-loving spirit. She loves the outdoors, animals (especially horses, and of course her cat!), photography, good books and strong coffee.

Tyson is a personable & savvy young businessman with natural leadership qualities and an earnest, kind-hearted personality. Tyson was raised in both the country and the city. He is a hard worker with interests in travel, sports, the outdoors, technology, and cars. Tyson is an upstanding, family-oriented man who handles responsibility with dedication and ease.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We don't just want to see the world – we want to experience it! Couch surfing gives us the privilege to meet new people while immersing ourselves into different cultures and settings. We love the fact that both travelers and home owners benefit from this opportunity, and we want to take part.

Interests

Tyson and I are a physically active couple. We enjoy adventuring of all sorts, including cycling, hiking, riding, fishing, swimming, gardening, and the like. We are always eager to try new things and learn new skills. We are sociable, upbeat, and energetic, and we love to laugh and share companionship with others. We also enjoy downtime together, whether we're lying on a beach, reading a book, sitting around a campfire, or soaking in the scenery on a long walk somewhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

Tyson and I have a variety of shared favourite TV shows, such as Arrow, New Girl, Modern Family, the Office, and Battlestar Galactica. I am a Downton Abbey fan and Tyson likes Breaking Bad.

As for books, I've carried some of my childhood favorites into adulthood, such as the Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Bloody Jack series; some of my recent discoveries include The Paris Wife and Wildwood. The Lord of the Rings is a given!
