Hello! I'm Victor!

I finished my degree in International Relations and a MBA in Smart Cities. I did a 14 months backpacking in nine countries, where I studied, worked, volunteered in NGOs and hostels. I met many people and places, made friendships for a lifetime. Now I'm at my second gap year traveling as backpacker.

I'm the typical Brazilian who laughs at everything, good vibes, always with a smile. I like sports (soccer, handball, athletics, trekking, hiking, etc.) I play guitar, I can't live without music, I think I'm a record holder for hours listened on Spotify hahaha however, the art I'm studying and loving is photography. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to meet many people with their different cultures and ways of living, learn about de country by the people living there. I had awesome conversations with "surfers" so I keep here.

Musics: bands like Beatles, Queen, Red Hot Chillis Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys, Strokes, Two Door Cinema Club, Sticky Fingers, Michael Jackson, Earth Wind and Fire, and genres like, electronic, brazilian reggae and rap, samba, bossa nova, reggaeton and champeta.

Books: One Hundred Years of Solitude; Sapiens.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I did volunteer work in the Atacama Desert, at a campsite under construction in the middle of the desert, and slept 10 days in a tent with temperatures below 0°C at night. There, I climbed a 5604 m volcano, swam in a salt lagoon that I couldn't sink in, and woke up at 3 am to see geysers releasing gases from the Earth's interior.

- I hitchhiked and found a way to make money in almost every country I visited.

- I spent the Day of the Dead in Mexico at Lake Patzcuaro, the region that experiences that day most intensely and was the inspiration for the movie Coco.

- I climbed three volcanoes in Guatemala, one of them super active and on eruption alert just as we were at the top, all over 3500m each, in 42 hours (with only 4 hours of sleep), and all while walking with a backpack full of food, water, and gear.

- I climbed a 6000m in Bolivia

Teach, Learn, Share

-Teaching Portuguese or guitar; taking photos and videos or teaching how to do it well. Some skills such as project management, people management, sales, travel planning, etc.

-Learning your language or any skill you have, or just chatting, I know I will learn something with you.

-Sharing experiences, ideas, happy moments.
