ABOUT ME

I like to get out of my comfort zone. Every 5 years or so I need to change things in life radically. Change career, even change country. Once archaeologist in Peru, then massage therapist in Amsterdam, and why work in over organized Europe when I could be a schoolteacher in Suriname's jungle or build a wildlife center??? Currently I am writing education materials about culture history for Curacao schoolchildren (Caribean).

Best moments of my traveling in Norway and South America was actually staying with the local people through CS, and not some fancy resort or natural wonder! Love the company after traveling solo!

Get to know the world, its beauties and people! Feel that inspiration when you come upon this beautiful place or while talking to this person you did not even know yesterday. Special soft spot for Peru, walk the camino to Santiago de Compostella, rivers in general, ice skating, and what else!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not the adrenaline moments, but the total quiet moments impressed me most.
Braganza, NE Portugal. Standing in a field with yellow, blue and red flowers, far away from any transportation with nothing else to do but simply be, feel inspired by earth's beauty.
Little more action:
Driving curved roads above deep blue oceans in an open car at Saba and Kahuai, every bend another happy moment!
And what about good old home: I love to take my bike and follow some river or be in the middle of some green polders!
