About Me

Hi there !
My name is Mizuki, I am a 25 y/o from Kobe city, Japan.
While in uni no matter if i have class or not, I used to take my backpack and explore the world.
And now after working 2years for a company, I decided to travel the world deeper again to be fulfilled and chase what i genuinely love!
I love playing music (acoustic/piano/sing), chilling on the beach, listening to music, getting know about people's lives, reading, yoga, dancing and cooking (with which I am quite good) and of course sometims drinking too ;).
I am also a big nature lover and a hike addict.

A friend of mine describes me
"Adventurous, open mind, super chill but down to try anything new or crazy"
I love her description of me :D

I love photography and videography since i started solo traveling and seeing mother nature and beauty of the earth. hope you enjoy my photos & videos! it’s my passion

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel deeper!
I love making friends from all over the world, listening to people and learning new language & culuture. I really want my experience in a country to be an immersion in the culture I am surrounded by (and so for the people who come to my place in Japan in the future !!).
It's all about sharing <3

◾️Music
Mmm.. I listen to any kind of music but my favorite artists are
The kooks, dontask, Mar Malade, Greentea Peng, Oasis, Beatles, Train, Bob Marley, Milkey chance and Brothers Moving (My favorite changes often so might be completely different) I love reggae, deep house, rock and acoustic chill, 70s 80s.

◾️Movie
I can't count my fav movies.
"DARK TOURIST" is one of my fav documentaries on Netflix. "Outer banks", "Stranger things", "Persuit of happiness", "focus" are also my fav.

◾️Books
One of my favorite writer is 林 修(Osamu Hayashi). I've read almost all of his books and used to take his class as well.
I also loved reading "courage to be disliked" and some more Japanese books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

・Stay in a cozy hostel in a quiet side of Gili island in Bali with amazing local musicians I just met there. ( i didn't know they were kinda famous in Indonesia at that time) we played music all the day long on the beach, doing session (I was just singing all the time) drink together, greet with a lots of turtles every day and i ended up with having a lots of awesome local friends and a place I can feel home :)

・Cliff jumping into Kaosan fall in Philippines which is the highest cliff jump in my life

・I went to Mexico by myself without telling my parents and got a tatto. (My mom still doesn't know about it)

・Motor bike road trip from Cairns up to Cape Tribulation (I walked by an aussie guy drinking with his mates on a street in Cairns then alone me joined them tho i rarely understood their aussie aussie accent and he took me the one day tour the day after)

・Join a family picnic on a beach in Bohol island and made a little pretty local friend and saw tons of stars! We still keep in touch ;)

・Camping car totally crashed with a big dropped rock and got broken in middle of nowhere in Arizona, stay a night without any facility waiting for a tow truck then the car company asked us $85000 (US) but succeed to discount down to $1000 deposit hahaha

・I made a really good friendship with an aussie guy, Brad from couchsurfing. I was supposed to stay in his house for about a week and ended up with staying more than 3months. I had never had a friend who's much older than me and I can share literally anything with but he's like my life adviser, aussie slang teacher and my mate. I loved the time i spent with him and the people i met through in his house. For sure the coolest experience in Oz .
