I love going to concerts, live music, festivals, and in Germany I have found a new love for techno; but I'm mostly a homebody who has as much fun in a board game night, or watching the latest hyped tv show.

I'm very interested in politics, and try to keep informed on current events, particularly those related to the climate crisis. I also like lighter topics, though! I'm just as comfortable discussing the latest drag race season or eurosivion :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to have a different profile years ago when I couchsurfed with the kindest hosts in Sweden, Finland, Colombia and Brasil, and also hosted travelers at my place. It was the best experience ever (I lost my login credentials, but you could see my old profile under username _bejorco_).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm mostly into pop, electronic and indie music. My favorite band ever is Beach House, and I'm also a big fan of the 90s masters of alternative: Radiohead, Björk, PJ Harvey, Portishead, etc.

I really like very serious and dramatic movies that leave you thinking, but I'm not immune to the charms of a good romcom! Some directors I'm always looking to their next work: Yorgos Lanthimos, Ruben Ostlund, PTA, Greta Gerwig, Andrew Haigh, Chloe Zhao, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mount Roraima. It was a six-day walk (three days up, one night at the top under the stars, and two days climbing down) full of magical nature, challenging treks and friend-for-life bonding that I absolutely loved but would probable never repeat again haha.
