Relocated to Nashville in January 2020 to advance my career in information design. Before that, I spent 3 years traveling all over the Northern Hemisphere. Jazzed that I have my own space; my pup Heidi and I are excited to pay it forward to other surfers!

- Volunteered at a recycling center in an Alaskan village where there were more moose than people
- Spoken at conferences about data journalism hobby projects
- Spent a month picking up trash in the Himalayas
- Worked at a Ukrainian summer camp

I can teach you lots about design and a little about software/web development, or how to knit or do other kinds of crafty things. Happy to share book and movie recs. Will help you with anything DIY and regale you with all sorts of stories :) I'm a good listener, too!
