Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If it wasn't for couchsurfing I never would have:

*Mistakenly rode a bus in Reykjavik all the way back to the bus yard. Then had the bus driver generously drive me home in his own car.

*Jumped off a cliff into a freezing cold lake in Norway

*Learned how to make Mexican food from a Dutch erasmus student

*Bumped into a group of Slovakian businessmen on holiday, that invited me back to their place for vodka

*Eaten rotten shark and raw goose (on different days)
