Hi!

I’m a 22 year old from Orlando :) I really only recently started traveling a ton, which reminded me of this account I made back in maybe my sr. Year of highschool. I used to follow this YouTube channel called yes theory where these 4 would go in these insane adventures all based around the concept of seeking discomfort.

But as much as traveling the world and going on crazy adventures seemed appealing to me, I had this sense of responsibility to go to college and get a degree. So off to college and my second semester of freshman year Covid, which pretty much any dream of traveling on pause. And then the real life responsibilities of the world starts kicking in, and 4 years later I’ve found myself working full time to be able to just pay my rent & get by. And at this point I’ve also stopped taking classes, because you have to work to make money for school, but working so much makes no time for school 🙃

Anyways I think that puts me at January of 2023, when for the first time in 3 years I’m forced to be alone myself. And to distract myself from everything I was going through I started pouring all my time into becoming a better version of myself. I started new hobbies, got into the gym & finally started my business. I started traveling too and slowly let go of my type A ways. I ended up in the craziest situations but where ever I went I made amazing friends.

And that brings us to the end of 2023. In this year alone I added 5 states to my traveled list. Made it further north and further west then I have ever been. But in reality 2023 was just the opening act. I’ve decided that traveling is something I want to focus on, and with the path I’m on I’ll be able to stop working full time and generate income from my business (I do luxury proposals btw 💍). I’m ready to purse this dream I had years ago and to stop wasting my youth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing because I was inspired by Yes Theory to go out and see the world. I've never left The United States and I really want to be able to travel and see the beautiful cultures that you get tiny glimpse of in Florida where I am from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my trip to dale hollow lake we went to this secret local spot where we hiked up stream to a waterfall. I was so beautiful, and such a jaw dropping moment. I had never seen a waterfall before so it was incredible.
