Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I grew up in a house full of guests, and ever since I moved out, I've been hosting meals and overnight guests.

When I travel to new countries and cultures, I prefer to be an active observer/participant as much as possible. Staying in hotels makes it difficult; hostels less so. But staying with someone who lives there is the best!
