I am a midwife student in Grenoble, in south east France. I wanted so much to travel arround the world I couldn't wait the end of my studies, so I left for a 6 months journey in Asia !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With my partner, Lino, we are on the way of a great journey. Here's the programm : 2 month in VietNam, 15 days in China, 15 days in South Korea and finally, 3 month in Japan. We are travelling to meet new people and discovering other ways of life and... hotels just can't provide us that kind of exeprience !

We would be delighted if couchsurfing could offer us more than just accommodation: visiting our host's city and neighbourhood, have a drink and why not have party together ! 🍻

Interests

Hiking : to discover beautiful nature spots at a gentle pace. ⛰️
Cooking : to combine useful with pleasure for me and my loved ones. Cooking is a way to express myself, I do everything by feel, for better or worse. 😋
Concerts : to have party, dance and listen to good music 🎶
History : to better understand the world around me 🗺️

Music, Movies, and Books

🎵 We are both passionated about techno parties and electronic music (Lino is even organising a festival in France) but we're also a lot into punk rock and, above all, curious about new discoveries !
🎬 On cinema side, we love Decision to Leave by Park Chan-Wook, but also Twighlight and Brice de Nice (a french comedy). What's more, Lino is a young film director, passionated about creating and filming stuff !
📚 In litterature, we like a lot Pierre Botter's saga "Ewilan's Quest" and Cookie Mueller novels. But what we really passionated of are comic books (Lino has a huge collection of these).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We were biking in the middle of coconut trees in Ben Tre, Mekong Delta, when a familly invited to drink in their house (at 11am)... We stayed 2 days with them !

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm passionate about my midwifery studies and would be delighted to talk to you about maternity and women's rights.
As I didn't really liked language classes during my time at school, I'd like to take advantage of my travels and encounters to learn how to communicate in other languages.
I'm an avid gourmet and am keen to discover new recipes!
