About Me

The best way to predict the future is to create it. So I try to have a positive mind set, proactive approach, and do what I enjoy and like. I like to organize events, spend time in nature, enjoying independent travelling, learning languages or playing guitar at the camp fire. I help at boy-scouts. I like to support things which I find meaningful for the society.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a good opportunity to meet different people, have talks, learn from other cultures, get some great local tips when travelling or just get helped by others when needed on some travels.

Interests

I enjoy wanderings into nature a sleeping outside below the sky. I like trying new things, independent travelling, outdore adventures, meeting cultures and people, playing guitar, doing sports and occasionaly cooking. I am enjoying to participate in a scouts organization in my home town. I think about the world and our society and I am trying to have a positive impact, not taking it to extremes, but to leave rather a good foot print also to our future world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to watch movies and read books. Some of my favourites are Matrix, Donnie Darko, good dramas, films by Andrei Tarkovsky, from bookds could be the Four Agreements, Egyptian Sinuhet, The Doors of Perception, Hidden Life of Trees...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In a group of 9 friends we signed to participate on Mongol Rally 2017. We drove small VW Polos from England to Mongolia during a month full of adventure, unique experiences and exciting places we would´t probably otherwise travel through. The most impressive and weird part was going through Turkmenistan which is hard to get in and see.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook some nice Czech dish for you, that´s a good way to experience our home culture. In the right season I can teach you how to pick-up edible mushrooms in our forests (a very popular activity in Czech with big history). We can share a shisha at our home which we occasionally enjoy. I like to learn about other cultures, religions and believes, I don´t mind to try sports I have never tried, I would love to learn and get more experience in sailing and fishing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share our living room with a couch, a dinner, a walk in the city... Let me know and we will try to figure out!
