ABOUT ME

Californian. I've lived in several countries, but my plans are to be stable from here on out. Living in Albania now.

I'd say I'm chill, thoughtful, minimalist, non-conformist, analytical, inquisitive, genuine and discovery-oriented. I love romance languages and cultures and I've been studying them since I was 15.

FILOSOFIA

Don't be a gillipollas. You don't know what other people are going through.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Smaller groups (I ran a group in Rio, Lisbon, and Porto), one-on-one, activity-based. I don't host much (usually due to a lack of space), but I can get a coffee/beer.

Interessi

If we're talking ideas, theories and concepts, I've usually got tons of them floating around my head. In terms of interests, I have many and often don't have time to fully explore them all. That said, I'm pretty big on psychology.

In terms of countries, Italy, Spain, Colombia and Brazil stand out as my favorites. Hope to buy a lil finca in Colombia in the coming years.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I studied other cultures like there was no tomorrow. Lived in Brazil a few times, doing the rounds in slums, small towns, mountains and metropolises. Arose with the sun and sauntered down the stony side streets of Paris, wandered through the Roman ruins of Lisbon, took in the full beauty of 'the last flower of Lazio', rambled down Las Ramblas, ventured the Via Appia, took in the cool Andorran air. I played chicken on the boulevards of Brussels, touched the curves of the Caribbean, swam up the Amazon, rode my motorcycle with no hands, drove down the coast of Colombia with no license and fell in love with New Orleans in the fall.

I've lived too many places to count, taken trains and planes at the drop of a hat and cut my path where there was none. But by day, I'm just a mild-mannered worker in a tiny online company.

Trying to believe:

"For the man sound in body and serene of mind there is no such thing as bad weather; every day has its beauty, and storms which whip the blood do but make it pulse more vigorously." ~George Gissing
