About Me

Work as a primary school teacher.

Enjoy active things, especially climbing around, hiking, swimming can be very playful. (I think that's why I like working with Children). Self-sufficient and able to look after myself but also love people, want to hear your story get to know you and the way you see the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy historical fiction or other books that make you think and learn when you read them.

My favorite film is Fight Club but I also love dark films with a point to make and German Cinema, (Die Welle, Das Experiment, Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei).

Music wise mostly Indie folk: Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons, Bombay Bicycle club, The Antlers, The dears, Noah and the Whale. Will though listen to anything from Talib Kweli to Yann Tiersen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Set up and ran a school for refugees in a small Greek village (Δολιανα).

Cycle tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Became a primary school teacher.

Tour guide in Giranger Fjord, Norway.

Playing football in the Shadow of Koutoubia Mosque with local children.

Staring a wild elephant in the eye while he drank from crocodile river when staying on the borders of Kruger National Park.

Taking part in a static line parachute jump for charity, knowing I could overcome nearly any fear.

Standing barefoot at the top of a mound in the middle of the night through a thunder storm.
