Well, I'm a queer trans persyn who's into arts and the like; vegan; very open minded. I am fairly socially anxious. I like animals, zines, comics, etcccc

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have much via-Couchsurfing.com, but here are my experiences with crashing on people's couches!

When I visited NYC on my own for the first time, I stayed with my friends in Bed-Sty...only they didn't have a couch! I stayed on the floor, no biggie, but their cat threw a tupperware at my head, haha. It was fun, we then walked around NYC all day. I stayed with HS friends the next night, used their shower before taking a late night/early morning bus back upstate.

When I first moved to NYC, my apartment was way out in Brooklyn, but I had friends in Manhattan I'd hang out til late night with. Study parties! When their friend moved out of the apartment, I moved in with them!

We stayed in Philly to check it out before moving here, at a Radical Faerie Gathering. Our hosts had a big loft that they used as a yoga studio...and it was our room, as well as the site of that night's party! That was a bit harsh, but our hosts were pretty gracious people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Sometimes all I do is listen to VNV Nation and have lots of Feelings. Other music I listen to:
Placebo, Grendel, Alec Empire, Lou Reed, Tilly and the Wall, Patrick Wolf, Hawksly Workman, God Module, Funker Vogt, Agents of Oblivion, GZA, Souixie and the Banshees, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.....

My favorite movie might be The Living End. It might be Gummo. It might be Brick. It might be Kids. It might be In Bruges. It might be just listening to Werner Herzog talk for 3 hours.
