I love Social Networking and I realised that the best way to know people who are sharing the same hobbies than me and the same feeling of adventure was to do Couchsurfing !

ABOUT ME

-------- I don't host people for only one night, too impersonal for me.
---------I REALLY cannot host two people both at the same time.
-------- Your couch surfing request must be really personal and addressed to me. When I feel the message is a copy/past from another mail to another host it doesn't really motivate me to host you. (Surtout pour les francophones qui m'envoient un message en Anglais alors que je suis Francaise)

I'll try to describe myself in a few words (and long sentences).
I was born in France and raised by my lovely mother and my nicely funny grand mother. After learning Japanese in High school, my mother sent me (Yes, she SENT ME ! She said "just GO !") to Japan for a one year exchange program in a Japanese high school.
There, I learnt a lot. Not only about the culture and the Japanese society, but also about myself and who I was. Leaving in a different culture help you to understand what is different with you and how you can adapt yourself to many different situations. This experience really helped me to understand others and also enjoying different cultures !
Of course, I decided to stay in Japan and after few travelling (three months in Ireland and four months in the UK) I went back to Japan and finally got into a University in Kyoto .
I just spent one year in China and I am finally back to Japan for my final year ! （我希望你们可以教我汉语！）; I also just spent one month in Brazil AND I LOVED IT !!!

Also, I had been trying to help other international students like me to get themselves integrated into the society. One of the message I try to send to people is : It doesn't matter how you speak a language, what is important, is what you want to do and what are your motivations. Learning Japanese is really difficult and I know that many people gave up their dreams because they think that their Japanese is not good enough.
In order to provide better support, I created a small community-support-platform that could help them in different ways : KIN (Kyoto International Network).

Because of this, school and my part time job, I am pretty busy. However, I always try got time for my friends and spend time with them. I consider friendship as essential and really try to prove to my friend how much they are important to me. Since I had been traveling a lot, it tends to be one of the most difficult thing that I've ever done.

PHILOSOPHY

Some of you may know about the quote of Confucius "Do not do unto others what you do not want others to do unto you". Well, I do follow this idea but in another aspect "Do to others what you want others to do to others". That is why I give much more than I receive most of the time and I do not regret it at all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had never done couch surfing but I am always happy to host people ! I especially like meeting students around my age with who we can share our experiences. I had hosted people from different countries and I always try to spend some time with you… Even it is a little bit it.
What I like the most is to bring my couch surfers to event with other locals and expatriates so they can meet a lot of people and create new connections

Centres d'intérêt

I love learning new languages, that's why after Japanese, I started Chinese and now I am really trying very very hard to speak up in Chinese.. I also like travelling and meeting people from all around the World. That's why I do consider learning foreign languages as really important because it helps to meeting people from different background sharing experiences and memories together !

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I live rock indies and I am recently into the new music band "Capital Cities" from LA. As classic band, I like Gorillaz, Two Door or Imagine Dragons (to-be-a-classic-in-the-future band), but I am really open to any kind of music.
I like Movies but I am much more fund of TV Show. I am watching any kind of TV show but my weaknesses were Chuck or Dexter.
And books... I am reading so many books for school that I cannot read as a hobby anymore... ahah I am kidding, but it is half true.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I have made many sacrifices to make my dreams come true and I have never given up. All of the things I had done to reach these dreams had shaped who I am and I promised to myself that I will never regret any choices in my life. If I can teach to the people I meet my own experience and we can also share the different choices we made in our life, that would give to both of us much stronger I think
