About Me

Hey hey couchsurfing world, getting back on here after a several year hiatus and excited to get back into the community! I'm a wandering soul passionate about music, permaculture, breathwork, ancestral and survival skills, and nature connection to name a few things.

I also have a big love of political theory, philosophy, theology, and other spheres of intellectual and spiritual discourse. Love staying up late and getting into conversations about all that, with plenty of room to agree to disagree and simply learn from diversity of thought :^) live and let live, as they say.

Love chatting around the fire and listening to music, hearing and telling stories, and getting to know people in real and authentic ways. Please feel free to get in touch if you're in the Duvall area to check out wilderness awareness school! I'd be happy to host you and answer questions/show you around:^)

Music, Movies, and Books

Little bit of everything, really. Particularly into the 60s, esp the trippy dippy stuff. Some fav artists are pink floyd, jimi hendrix, velvet underground, and rodriguez. Also pretty into jazz (louis armstrong, Erroll Garner, ella fitzgerald, nina simone etc), blues (muddy waters, junior kimbrough, howling wolf) and 90s hiphop (tribe called quest, souls of mischief, common, etc). For the past few years I've really enjoyed getting into different styles of world music. Last year I was super into Brazilian rock, this year its been a lot of French rap!
//
Thoreau, Camus, Robert Frost, Alan Watts, Terence McKenna, Marx, Walt Whitman, Chomsky

I read a lot of political philosophy, especially in the realms of anarchism and libertarianism. Also a big fan of good fantasy and fiction, and big expansive novels. Shantaram is probably my favorite novel of all time
//
Some cool shows are westworld, stranger things, Buffy the vampire slayer, the office, game of thrones, etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to say. I definitely gained some major insights into myself during the Anake Outdoor School. Also have had some wild experiences traveling, including some near death experiences in Nepal, Indonesia, and beyond. Hopefully will keep the good times rolling!

I have an album coming out Aug 25 under the name Threads Under Ground that I'm super proud of :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Can maybe help anyone interested in learning more about music! Im a guitar and music theory teacher and am always stoked to pass along what I know. I love to jam too!

Can also share some outdoor/primitive skills, and breathwork meditations :)
