Overview
About Me
Naturally curious about both the inner world (ideas and feelings) and the outer world (people and places). I'm from Prague, also lived in England for 5 years, Peru/Bolivia for half a year, and Holland for 3 years.
Now I'm a digital nomad teacher in South Asia. क्या आप मुझे कुछ हिंदी/اردو सिखाओगे?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
If you think of travel as a way of learning, Cs is great because it enables people from widely different backgrounds to meet and share. It can actually make you feel like you're travelling while staying at home.
I discovered Cs alongside Workaway in Peru in 2018. I fell in love with both surfing and hangouts while hitchhiking from Casablanca to Prague in spring 2019. Then I started hosting, in Dobřichovice (CZ) and in Leiden (NL).

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: rock, folk, avant-garde...
Cinema: Cuarón, Miyazaki, Aronofsky, Linklater...
Fiction: Brave New World, Dune, Brothers Karamazov...
I have myself written many poems and reflections, in English, Czech, Spanish and now हिंदी.
Although I've left them behind, I was influenced by Alan Watts' (Out of Your Mind) and Jordan Peterson's (Maps of Meaning) lectures. They make ancient religious traditions clear and useful. If you want to enjoy philosophy, other great entrance points are: the Zhuangzi (second Daoist classic), dialogues by Plato (e.g. Symposium) or Black Skin White Masks by Fanon (to understand racism/colonialism).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Grew a system of grassroots philosophy events, seminars and activism at Leiden Uni—empowering a student community of all ages and backgrounds to realize their creative ideas and determine their own education.
Bonus: As a goodbye to the UK, I ran from Manchester to Liverpool (over 50k). A week later I competed in the Manchester half marathon and didn't finish bad! Although I could barely walk for a while, I'd recommend it. :D
Teach, Learn, Share
I am good with languages, I cook, and I like making art and working with soil. I have a lot of conceptual knowledge and a lot of wild experiences to share—and I am always open to more.
These days also practicing a lot of sati (mindfulness) and metta (loving-kindness) meditation from the Buddha-dhamma tradition.
