About Me

We are 5 flatmates in a huge house with a small garden nearby Bordeaux. The place is quite calm and cosy.

I grew up in Dijon where I studied for a bit, then I moved quite a lot in the last three years, still for my studies. I have finished my degree in ecology in Lisbon during summer 2016 and another degree in philosophy of sciences in montpellier this year. I am now working in INRA as a PhD student.
I really like to party and I never say no for a beer, (a coffee is fine as well indeed). People use to say I'm easy-going and open-minded, which I think is true.
I enjoy long-talk, discussions about everything. I am curious I would say, and the little things can easily fascinating me. (Especially when it is about sciences)
I love travelling and discovering other cultures, people, way of thinking and all kind of experiences sharing although I assume that is true for most of the people in here.
Hang-out, musics, sports are all things that I like to get involved in.

Let me know if you want to share a beer otherwise have some talk with someone and so on..
Cheers :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess that everyone has at least something to teach you, that is I think a reasonable argument to take part of this community, in which I have met so many great people. People are always cool and kind. You can make really good friend. It would be to long to describe how great these people here are.
So, let say that I love to meet as many people as I can.

Interests

Too many but among others :

Music (Have to listen to it all day long)
Running, Martial arts, Badminton, bouldering ...all sports !
Skepticism and Zethetique (which is the art of doubting).

Ecology : I'm easily fascinating by every kind of relation between organisms and their environnement. If you know something about it that I ignore, I would strongly advise you not to tell it to me unless you want to get involve in a talk for ages.

Cooking : Well, I really enjoy cooking, but if you stay with me for a little while, I'm sorry to admit you won't be surprised by my skills after 3 days anymore.

Sports : I practice sport every day : bouldering and trail mostly but also badminton, cycling ...

Music, Movies, and Books

All kind of music from classic to Electro.
I like old fashioned cinema (from 1935-1970). And I'm especially a big fan of what is called in French "Film à huis clos" (I have no idea about how to translate that into english) :

Sleuth,
12 Angry Men,
Rear Window
Rope
Le Trou

Those are probably my favorites, and in my opinion the best of this kind.

I'm not a big reader, but I like skepticism sciences, and that is almost the only thing that I read. If I would have just one book to recommend that would definitely be the "Petit guide d'autodéfense intellectuelle" from Normand Baillargeon, which is definitely a must have.
