ABOUT ME

I'm finally about to embark on my trip through Europe. For 2 years I've been talking about leaving Christchurch for a bit, and I've finally found the courage to do it. Before I start back at University I want to see a bit of the other hempisphere. My trip will hopefully open my eyes to new cultures and ways of life, and by the end of it I hope that it will give me some insight into a career path I'd like to pursue with all my heart.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to push my comfort zone to new levels, trying new things. I'm pretty family oriented, love spending time with them and appreciate their love and support. I'm trying to work towards a life that makes me happy without social and media pressures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'd love to surf of people's couches while I travel, once I come back and settle into a place of my own, I'd hope to return the favour and host surfers all over the world, it's easy to reccommend and inform others about a country that I'm so passionate and proud of!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like war movies, romantic comedies, films that I can relate to.Not a huge reader, but the few I have read are about religion, gardening, self development and the wilderness.Music - Where to start!! I like a wide variety from Top 40 Pop to Classical. I like artists such as; Imogen Heap, Regina Spektor, Lana Del Rey, Florence and the Machine, I like a bit of house music, and Diana Vickers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Community spirit after the Christchurch earthquakes. Not something many get to experience, but never in my life have I felt so proud of my city and country that put all their effort into selfless acts to help quickly recover what was thought to be lost. Hope.
