About Me

I love conversations, it's like reading books of life.

I was born in Mexico City but I grew up at the northern part of Mexico where I studied to become an Aviation Pilot but had to quite from that. I became a full time-debating competitor while teaching Parlamentary debate at the university, which has been one of my best life-changing experiencies. Curretly a chief director of a publishing house. I am in the process of getting my professional degree on Mexican Cultural Studies at the local state University (Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meetting people from another cultures It's the easiest way to stay out of the regular lines of thoughts.

Interests

I'm interested in knowing the reality of the countries, not just the pretty touristic places. I would like to understand how locals live and why they live like that. As much as the time and money allow it.

I love to paint (mostly oil) impressionism art, to travel, to drive many hours and to play SimRacing (ACC in case u want to race)

Music, Movies, and Books

Instrumental music, Indy, mantras, rock, metal, pop and any good sound that includes piano and violin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think life is built on amazing moments, not just one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach and share:

C1 spanish (as a book editor and debater) or english to non native speakers to improve together. I can help you with an essay or homeworks.
How to fly airplanes on a simulator, at least. (My licence is only valid in Mexico)
SimRacing of course.
Debating... like, a lot.
Novohispanic mexican history and México geography.
Some mexican dishes.
How to do minor repairs to a car or to change oil and filter (very useful).
Maps, a love maps.

I want to learn:
how you live, how you become who you are.
Cool places, not the touristic ones.
Mountains at dawn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can easily adjust to your schedule, I'm very clean and I will respect your home rules and times. I would like both having my own time and sharing it.

----- I expect from hosts to share local life style and opinions, to help me understard culture, how people live and why they have certain mentality. To help me know the city or town from a local point of view, to give me tips about knowing the city insights, public transportation, and local culture. If we can do trekking or climb something, much better.

----- I expect from surfers to maintain the same I give, I don´t like to be treated as a Hotel manager, but I respect that sometimes traveling involves emergencies and we need to solve together. I like to help surfers to visit best places of my city (Zacatecas), to help them get the best from their time here.
