ABOUT ME

I am a quiet person who likes to enjoy everything that life puts in front. How complicated it is to write about oneself, ain't? I'm sociable but I must admit that sometimes I thrive on the crowd. I appreciate the little things and I don't ask for more. I've lived from places in the middle of nowhere in the English countryside to big cities like my hometown Barcelona, so I adapt to everything with great ease. I love to learn different ways of doing and understanding the reality around us.

One of my pleasures is to let the sun warm my face for a few minutes as a battery charger!

Mmmm ... Don't give me a beer, one it's enough, I can get to say a lot of nonsense ... fun ... but ... ;) In this state my smile is bigger!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am moderator of the "Valencia en bici" sub-group.

I have written articles about the CS project in any of the journals I write for. Use to talk to friends about CS project and CS. I've participated in some parties, meetings or events organized by the CS community of Valencia.

Because at the moment I can not host, I usually try to know the couchers of my friends or go for a drink or a city tour to who request it.

Interests

I'm interested in culture, different ways of doing or understand what surrounds us. I use to have an active cultural life and go to concerts, plays, lectures, cinema... I have a radar set for all those free activities in the city ;)

Since I started learning to dance lindyhop, I'm pretty active in the valencian hopper community. I love to dance ... is fun, healthy and laugh a lot!

In late 2009 I bought a digital reflex camera and I love taking pictures, I always try to bring it with me! Ready for a portrait?

I write since I was very young but since my first blog in 2006 I started two others and these led me to realize that I love writing. This has led me to participate as an amateur journalist in several digital journalism and poetry projects.

My mode of transportation is the bike and where I go is my bike. The bike allows me to see life from another perspective. Yes, every first Friday of the month I'm in Valencia Critical Mass.

Although It's been a long time since my last hiking in the Pirenees I love all outdoor activities in contact with nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Cinema... I specially like european and any kind of independent or weird movies. Love Bollywood movies!! What I really like about the seventh art is its capacity to make you think about our reality. One of my favourite directors is Ken Loach. My favourite movies ever were "Schindler's list" and "Braveheart", but now that I'm older and I've seen more movies I cannot decide for any... all of them!! I love art, nice art!

Music... I like music with capacity to surprise me! I like mainly quiet music like singsongwriter, indie, chill, classical... I like almost all music except hard electronic.

Books... nowadays I'm reading a lot of poetry but I also like to read philosophy, anthropology, short histories. Sometimes read a lot, more than a book at one, others I'm faithful to just one book and others I can be for several months without reading any... nowadays I'm on fire!! Reading many at once and a big pile waiting to be read ;)
