Présentation
À propos de moi
back on CS after a years-long hiatus. i occasionally host here and also through host a sister- https://www.facebook.com/groups/hostasister/
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
i enjoy and value cultural and hospitality exchange. i've had incredible experiences and made lifelong friends through this community long before it was an app. i've seen people's lives change as a direct result of CS: future partners and spouses meeting one another, people starting new lives by moving clear across the country after falling in love with a new city. it's a beautiful thing! though i've had varying degrees of negative experiences on here as well (and i have), the good far out weighs the bad. i've connected with lovely people i would've otherwise never had access to, and had opportunities to explore foreign places through local eyes. there is magic to be found here ✨
Morceaux de musique, films et livres
indie cinema/art house films. anything with feeling. loving 80's synth-pop new wave, as always.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
-hiked the deserts and rainforests of oregon (it's truly amazing how such juxtaposed environments are located within a half-hour of each other)
-danced in the rain on Frenchmen Street on a Mardi Gras night
-hitchhiked across Poland
-attended a papal mass performed by Pope Francis at the Vatican
-backpacked Central and Southern Mexico by myself for 2 months
-quit drinking for 4 and a half years
and, of course...
-being a part of this amazing network of like-minded travelers!
