About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am here to know places, know people, KNOWledge. (:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am looking for places with friendly and fun people to show me their own city.
You are welcome to visit me in Porto Alegre, Brazil!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've known some people through CouchSurfing and made some special friends, especially while I was living in Hamburg, Germany, in 2012.
I started to host people in 2015 and I don't intend to stop it soon! I'm so in love with these experiences I had. :) and of course, I also love to travel and I'd like to find a couch and a local friend to show me the city as well.

Interests

Music, movies, series, books, internet, photography (I am far far away from being a professional, but my photos are here: instagram.com/amandamgoltz).

Have fun, drink some good beer(I'm not an expert, but I enjoy it a lot!), speak German! <3

Music, Movies, and Books

Alternative rock, some brazilian music, POP to dance, electronic sometimes.

Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, Amelié Poulain, Elizabethtown, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Californication.

Gabriel García Márquez, Machado de Assis, Kafka.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's so simple, but to live as a foreign can be really cool. To see the world for another angle and by another culture of life is really interesting.

I like this feeling that you are just a small piece in the middle of a crowd and, as the time goes, you start to know more people and places... And to belong again.! Then it's time to move again, haha

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a little bit of my Photoshop or Illustrator skills, how to grow tomatoes and other spices and how to take good care of cats. :P

If I could practice my English and my German knowledge, it would be great!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have some maps and a lot of tips I can give about where to go and what to do in Porto Alegre. We can cook together, go out to have some beers/coffee or just to dance and have some fun! I also enjoy to show the city walking or by bike. Last but not least, you can try a typical drink from Rio Grande do Sul: o chimarrão. :)

And that's important! I have two cats at home, so if you are allergic it could be a problem.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
