About Me

ABOUT ME

Currently in Bali till January and then move somewhere else in the world 😁

Me.. hm.. I love to hear people stories better that telling mine. I can give good life advice cause I read a lotta chicken soup, and sorta books. -.- (it's easy to tell, hard to do, right?). But yea, I really like when people share their mind, it's like my way to know the face of the world aside from one I knew.

I studied Landscape Architecture, keen on arts, music, politics, psychology, philosophy, food and cooking, gardening, basically everything ;) I'm a curious, a bit of an awkward person sometimes. An ambivert.

Let's talk over a coffee :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in making connections with people through conversations, as a way to bridge my understanding of the world and practice empathy and compassion. I also want to prove that every human shares a lot of things in common and that we can always find comfort in midst of differences. We only need to listen to each other's story, be kind, and take care of each other, which I think is the spirit of the Couchsurfing ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I never couched people from CS before,I mainly surfed. That's why I feel obliged (and of course honoured) to couch someone someday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On July-august 2011, I went to Alor for an excursion with my uni friends. The journey takes 9 days from Java-Alor by bus, ferry, and boat. It was exhausting yet incredible. we watched dolphins welcomed us on both of the boat sides, and that was just..marvelous! Then we spent another 3 weeks documenting vernacular architecture in the area. I also spent days in Kupang and visit crystal cave. arrgh you just got to go to the east (and the west) of Indonesia and be in love with it. :)

On April 2012, I did an internship for 2,5 months on a super rural rural rural city in Hokkaido, Japan, named Saroma. It's a city with a population around 6000 people. Most of the time covered with snow and surrounded by fields and hills. I continued to travel Kansai area on southern Japan for another two weeks. Witnessed typhoon and ate lots and lots of yummy strange raw thing (which everyone there did) :)

On NYE 2018, me and some couchsurfers climbed one of the Budapest suspension bridge, it was pretty crazy, stupid and scary (for me), but turned out unforgettable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I might share Javanese language ability, Bahasa, and music lessons. :p not sure, but I'm pretty good in teaching you how to make Manado Porridge (Eastern Sulawesi's traditional porridge) and some other delicious Indonesian foods ;p

What I Can Share with Hosts

Delicious Indonesian cooking, Indonesian language, tips and trick to travel Indonesia (espescially Java and Bali, as those are places I've lived in), a bit of piano or guitar play, some interesting architectural talk? :D
