About Me

Hey, I am a normal guy who have had the privilege of living in different countries, now I live in France where I am pursuing a master's degree in Marketing.
I look forward to meeting new people, maybe we'll have a coffee together and never see each other again, or we might keep calling one another, let's find out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because of the cliché "I love to meet people" thing.

Interests

I am a huge fan of Liverpool FC since I was a little boy, so I never miss its matches. I also love movies and they are the reason I learned English, so I am thankful to a lot of meaningless Hollywood movies!
I really enjoy walking in the streets and have coffee in a cozy café, specially if I am in a city which I am visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are too many movies to name.

Books:
Blindness by José Saramago.
The Clown by Heinrich Böll.

Music includes mostly Iranian traditional. I will be grateful if you introduce me to your country's music, but you have to translate me the poems.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The time when I was living in India, I always heard stories of people's travels. I always wanted to experience those myself and have stories to tell. One morning I went to a shop where I could buy bus thickets, I got a one way ticket for a city called Pondicherry. I chose that city because that was the only ticket available for that night. I got on the bus and started a two-week solo backpacking trip through south India. I met an American traveler and spend a few hours with him in Munnar, he told me about his life and how he had been traveling for 20 years. He said "if I die right here, right now, I'd die as a happy man". I was 21 at the time and never really understood what he meant. However two years after that what he said came back to me and became the reason I made a life changing decision. I never saw him again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think sharing and teaching depends on how well we get along, hopefully we'll have many things to share and teach each other.
