About Me

ABOUT ME

I love to travel which is my curse. I have been very lucky for the past seven years I have worked in Canada (including doing a season Fernie. I have also lived in Victoria, Calgary and Halifax), Ireland (Galway) , UK (Edinburgh and Oxford) and USA (Summer Camp in New Jersey called Camp Vacamas).

I love to do volunteer work overseas I have been fortunate to volunteer in Thailand, Indonesia, Ecuador, Canada, Poland, Austria, Romania, Serbia, and Spain doing various things from English conversation, music festivals, conservation and disability .

If you ask what I do for a living I’ll probably say I’m looking for work. I have been freelancing as a outdoor instructor/tour guide so I feel like I’m constantly looking for work. I’m currently outdoor instructor for an activity centre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2007 when i was backpacking in Europe I went to Wren, Austria and visited Eisriesenwelt Ice Caves. The view from the caves was jaw dropping and the inside the cave was incredible natural ice sculptures. When I was in San Ignacio, Belize i went to Actun Tunichill Muknal Cave. It is underwater caving and you visit mayan ruins and ceremonial sacrifices amazing!! As you can tell i love caves :-D

Helping baby turtles in Ecuador just before Christmas...

Also visiting Syria 6 months before the War began how we all thought it was such a beautiful place!!!
