About Me

Keen to discover myself and the world. To that end, I am currently taking a gap year after high school. A bit shy, but I open myself up after a while. I've been told I'm quite mature for my age. I like to visit museums and techno clubs, I like to read and take photos and I like to meet people and hear stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people with a certain vibe. If you are willing to share your couch with a stranger/sleep on a stranger's couch, I think we will get along well :))

I am also looking for more authentic human connection, and I think being invited into somebody's home, their private space, establishes a level of trust from the get go. That trust can flourish into a more profound bond.

Music, Movies, and Books

In no particular order:

Some of my favourite albums
- Toxicity (S.O.A.D)
- To Pimp A Butterfly (Kendrick)
- SINNERS GET READY (Lingua Ignota)

Some of my favourite movies
- Habfürdö (György Kovásznai, 1980)
- Trois couleurs: Rouge (Krzysztof Kieslowski, 1994)
- Blue Eye Samurai (2023)

Some of my favourite books
- The New York Trilogy (Paul Auster)
- The Sympathizer (Viet Thanh Nguyen)
- The Stranger (Albert Camus)

I am willing to try anything once, so we'll probably find some common ground :))

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am quite proud of completing the first part of Via Transilvanica, a long distance trail across Romania. 120 km in 6 days, with steep inclines, a heavy backpack and heavier rain. If amazingness is beauty that is hard to obtain, this definitely checks that box.

Teach, Learn, Share

English, Romanian, stories from my travels. I'm also good with computers, I can teach you a programming language, or if your printer doesn't cooperate, I can take a look :))

What I Can Share with Hosts

Mainly curiosity, but knowledge may also be on the table. If nothing else, a good listener or a drinking buddy.

On a more serious note, I can run errands, I don't mind getting my hands dirty and I try to be as helpful as I can in general.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
