I'm a 6'9" dude who loves attention and making people laugh. I'm a BFG (big friendly giant) and I love the idea of travelling, meeting new people and just exploring exactly what this world has to offer. I think hotel rates are overrated, give me a dirty basement floor and I'll be happy as a clam. After four years in a degree I didn't really care for, I've decided that it's time to take matters into my own hands by seeing every part of the world as cheaply as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why is everyone? Social aspect, financial aspect, locations are generally super close to cool areas. Honestly, a hotel with service and a bed is nice, but I would much prefer spend the money on local foods or activities to truly embrace the culture and land that I am currently residing in!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Brought a GPA from a 2.92/4.00 in my second year to a 4.00/4.00 in my fourth. I hated the program, I hated what I was learning, but it showed me I had what it took to face adversity and work my ass off to get what I wanted, regardless of who I was proving it to. I could do it. This isn't to toot my own horn, I could care less about the degree I've obtained.

I've also reached things on the top aisle for old ladies plenty of times.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will stay out of your hair, I don't need much and I don't expect anything from you guys. Just hopefully a place to rest my head for 6-8 hours and get the heck out if that's what you so desire. I will pay every time I stay, no matter how much the host insists (I'll hide the money damnit, and it won't be much) and I will leave the place how I got to it.

I will also sometimes share some friends I have brought along with me on my travels who are equally funny, smart, compassionate and open to any and all experiences.
