Exchanged in U.S. and traveled to Canada and Sri Lanka. TOEFL tutor, freelance transcriber/translator. have been working with foreign reporters to cover China for some time.

I'm trying to figure out how to survive New York in the next two years.
But I kind of believe it's gonna be two amazing years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I stayed with a Canadian home stay for a month back in high school, sort of my first "couch surfing" experience.

In 2012, I traveled alone from San Fran to Chicago and New York. Through the trip, I was mostly sleeping on others' "couches", though some of my hosts are not on counchsurfing. I was lucky to have private room (roommate happened to be away, yay~), and my hosts were beyond kind (driving me to take subway at 2am)

I guess there's always a sense of awkwardness in meeting up with strangers.
But more often than not I do enjoy that awkwardness.

Interests

Cannot live a day without music. Any kind, jazz rap, classical(piano player myself), pop, indie, electronic...as long it's good. Don't judge.
