About Me

I am 21 years old and I come from Slovenia. I would say that I am easy going, quite laid back and sometimes even lazy. Witch does not mean that I am apathetic. I can get very excited for a lot of things and sometimes I can be spontaneous. It really depends on weather (nice sunny day can make me very happy). I like to see the world as colourful as it can be, that is way I like to move around, making opinion, talk about all kind of stuff, listening and telling stories. Well I try to be open minded and not to have prejudice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I think that is a great site to meat different people, to hang out with people that also like to travel, that are knee to share their local knowledge and welling to help or give some useful information. I think that couchsurfing can really enrich our minds and leave us some unforgivable experience.

Interests

My biggest interest is probably sport, it is a hobby that I always enjoy it and the fact that I am studying it makes even bigger impact of it in my life. It does not mater witch kind of sport, from team sport to swimming and from cycling or just running to ballet, skiing and surfing. But I am not all about sport. I have been playing clarinet for 12 years, first I was studying in music school, for last 6 years I am playing just in brass band (for fun, company and to maintain my knowledge, plus it is always something special to get drunk with a band). In my free time I also play an ukulele, also for fun and to sing out laud. So... music and art play a big role in my life and I like to visit underground places where creative and open minded people are hanging out. Disco stuff is not for me. From time to time I go with friends to theatre and cinema, because it is always exciting to discuss about that.

Music, Movies, and Books

It is hard for me just to pick one music, film or book and say: OK this is my favourite. But if I have to decide it... lets start with books. I like reading writers like Karel Čapek and Jaroslav Hašek (Švejk) or Joseph Conrad, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (his Little Prince is really beautiful and inspiring story) and also Dan Brown, of Slovene probably Ciril Kosmač. Movies: The Intouchables,Whiplash , Inception, Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, Hangover, The Pineapple Express, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Into the Wild, Frank, The Big Lebowski, Birdman... when is talk about series, it is Flight of the Concords that I found the most amusing. Music is too wide topic to speak about - for me. I like jazz, blues, pop, rock, metal, hip hop/rap, soul, classical, experimental, reggae, ska, punk and I dislike electronic. Usually I end up with folk music, such as Bon Iver, Jack Johnson, Damien Rice, Ben Howard, Jason Mraz, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. But it depends on my random YouTube, Bandcamp search and of advices that I take from my friends.
