Born and raised up on an outer skirt of Rome by means of videogames, football, and travels, I'm a rational person with well-hidden moments of blood boiling where I would like to see the world burn (I'm joking, you can still my friend XD). Of course, I enjoy clever conversation, especially if I manage to join those when the topic is far away from my knowledge (basically if I learn something new).
Ph.D. student in science by vocation, I try to be a bit artistic on top of that. I eat ice-cream, I like playing(trying)/listening music, acting(trying)/see theatre performances, and doing(trying)/see photography. The ice-cream is there just because I like it.
Of course n2 I love to travel, especially to do long ones, where you have the time to be transformed by them.
My philosophy of life is: always look for Super Mario Bros. Shortcuts. If you don't know what I'm talking about I'm sorry, an alternative explanation of it takes a page at least.

To enter in contact with travelers and people, whether i'm at home or on the road. Because the real travel happens when you meet the other, wherever you are.
Ok, i said the cool sentence... i want to be hosted and all the other cool things of couchsurfing!

Music - First, almost all tastes of rock: classic, hard, progressive, alternative, indie, pychedelic, post, electro, funk, folk, blues, punk, grunge, pop, and probably all the other name they invented, (not metal with few exceptions). A few names are Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Genesis, King Crimson, Yes, PFM, Jethro Tull, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, Tame Impala, M83, Verdena, Muse, Simon & Garfunkel, Nirvana, Mark Knopfler, Supertramp, Rammstein, and others.
Then, classical (Bach, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Grieg, Rachmaninov), Jazz (Jaco Pastorius, Miles Davis, Chet Baker), some etnical (armenian, middle east, balkan),some italian pop with good songwriting (De Andre', Battisti) and others written on a 100 pages pdf that couchsurfing doesn t allow me to load!

Movie - First, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. Then, mindtrip movies (The prestige, The Game, Memento, Mr nobody, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain, The big Lebowski, The Godfather, Life of Pi and others.
I can't stand american action movies full of explosions and movies with very poor/stupid screenwriting (to me it's worse than a bad acting!).

Books - The Bible, Landau and Lifshitz Course of Theoretical Physics, The Feynman Lectures on Physics, A History of Western Philosophy (Bertrand Russell), The prophet (Kahlil Gibran), Confessions (Saint Augustine), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams), The Structure of Scientific Revolutions (Thomas S Kuhn). I'd rather read a non-fiction book than a novel.

A summer I heard an Andalusian complaining about the northern Spanish people, saying that they are too cold and introvert. The same winter I heard the same identical sentences and emotions from a Dutch and a German, complaining about the northern Norwegian. There' s always someone more north or more south (though I still have to check at the poles)!

And then I did the walk of Santiago!

I'm strongly interested in language exchange, so i can give my help in Italian and in my humble English, and i'll be happy to receive it for Spanish or Dutch (but i'm interested in other languages too).
Then i can help little bit with physics and basic math, and i would like to learn some computer tricks (programming, network), or ideas about art (i basically asked everything XD).
Maybe i have something to offer that i forgot, just ask!
