Recently, I celebrated my 25th birthday. I have a dog named Oscar who is my best friend and goes everywhere with me. I enjoy traveling, reading, biking, hiking, running, and swimming. So far this summer I visited Connecticut, including Hartford, Mystic Seaport, and Stonington Harbor. I also hiked on the Appalachian Trail from Harpers Ferry, West Virgina to Gatland State Park, Maryland. Additionally, I toured Gettysburg and the battlegrounds. More, I touched down in Ocean City, Maryland and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware for a bit. Oh and I went camping at Pymatuning State Park in Ohio. Currently, I am preparing for a departure to Asheville, North Carolina.

I decided to join Couchsurfing because I have heard positive reviews from friends that have used the service. I enjoy traveling and I believe this would be an interesting way to see new places.
