About Me

I'm not the type of person to go sight seeing too much, but rather meet the people where ever I go and learn about all the culture through them instead. I don't take things too seriously and like to have fun, but I will respect the wishes of the host(s) and graciously follow any rules set by them. I would like to get to know the host(s) and hang out with them during my stay, but will understand if they do not want to. I want to make some international friends at least :)

On a side note, I very rarely like to take a regular picture. I like being silly in my pictures!!

PHILOSOPHY

Having fun, during or after what is necessary (whether it be work or learning), is the most important part of anything you may do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couchsurfed in Montreal a couple of years ago. I absolutely loved it; met a gracious host, made some great friends, had a wonderful time and saved money. I did things you could only do if you had locals show you, and that's exactly why I like to couchsurf instead of using a hotel. I want to meet the locals.

Interests

For my interests during my stay where ever: Hanging out with the host, eating, drinking, going out/adventures, joking/having fun, finding places tourists wouldn't know, meeting new people and befriending them.

General interest: improv, adult summer camp counselor, various TV shows, whiskey, IPAs, EDM etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Monday, heard about couchsurfing for the first time.
Tuesday, spontaneously decided to couchsurf in Montreal alone and found a host
Wednesday, bought a ticket, left for Montreal, met my host, and stayed there for 4 nights!

All my friends thought I was crazy to do that but they were jealous to hear the stories and memories I made while I was there haha.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try teaching some Korean and English. I can also tell you about some cool spots you should visit in New York. I love comedy and can also share my knowledge of improv.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I generally have a great attitude and know how to have a good time. However, I cannot enjoy my stay without making sure my hosts are having fun as well. We'll make some great memories together :)

Also, I can buy anything from NY and bring it with me to give to a gracious host :) I like to offer it out of gratitude.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Germany, South Korea
