COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Accidental really..
In November 2009 I went to visit a friend in Coimbre, Portugal. We were both meant to go on a trip to Porto but she felt sick so I ended up going on my own. As part of my trip I visited the Port warehouses and met Pedro and his friends during the wine tasting session at the end of the tour. Pedro showed me around the city and took me to places I would have never read about in a guide book. After a few bottles of beers and a jug of Sagria I ended up missing my train back to Coimbre. Pedro and his brother offered me their couch and I ended up staying for a few days!! I've had amazing time and will never forget that trip!
Interests
I'm a journalist so i'm generally interested in world - politics, world affairs (in particular the middle east, art, music etc.)
I love being out & about no matter if it's exploring London on my bike or doing long walks and treks in the countryside. I love nature - national parks, mountains, sea resorts
I'm quite sporty - love swimming, play squash, cycle pretty much everywhere 365 days a year. I love trekking.
I love reading, going to gigs and exhibitions.
