I live in Kintyre. Argyll is very big and if you are visiting any other place than Kintyre, you may find yourself hours away from my couch, even if your GPS tells you it's only a few miles. You may still have to round a couple of lochs or cross over islands. Our village of Tayinloan is between Tarbert and CAMPBELTOWN, halfway down the peninsula of Kintyre, on the A83, 4 hours from Glasgow. Cheapest way to get here: book a "super single" bus ticket from Glasgow online at CityLink.
