About Me

After studying in glasgow four years, I travelled through north, central and South America after taking a break from the traditonal sense of education and learn from experiences in a more free environment.
I'm an outgoing, friendly, down to earth girl that's interested in traveling and meeting new people from different cultures that are open to sharing and acceptance of others. Swimming in the sea and being by the coast, yoga, cooking, music, art and language are all things I'd love to learn and share with people.

I want to have a laugh and meet people up for a bit of adventure, as well as happy to chill.
I tend to get a lot of requests so sorry if I do not reply. I work in an animal shelter and am always pretty busy, combined with minimal phone usage.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed for the first time in Boston, 2013 and also in Quito, Ecuador in the summer of 2015. I have hosted a lot more than surfed but this September I begin travelling for the next year or two and plan to couchsurf as often as I can to really engage with local people in the city they choose to call their home and find out the reason why. Beginning my travels in Copenhagen, travelling on land to Sweden then flying off to Cuba! All my plans for now!

Interests

Interested in animal rights and conservation. I grew up on the edge of the country and on the Irish coast so I love getting into the sea, be it swimming or surfing or snorkelling. I have a passion for snowsports, the main reason behind my university degree. I have always enjoyed art and recently began sketching and painting again in my free time. Music always and a good book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving off the Galapagos Islands. Visiting Machu Picchu. Spent a summer living in Manhattan with my best friend at 18. Saved a sheep from a bucket of poo water in the hills of Antrim.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Depends on how busy I am and how I feel. I like sharing my home, I just live with my mum currently since I moved back in June 18. I work a drive away and am out working or running errands usually. So sometimes just a bed to stay and a catch up on your day in the evening. I know from my own experiences accommodation can be expensive and hostels get tiring, so a nice home to relax in is always a nice break and I am happy to offer that. I just ask for respect in the home in return. I don't drink or go out a lot but would go for a pint occasionally but generally prefer a walk or a chat with a j.
